2019 Tri - Cities Pro Lady
Pine Oaks Teams
The Ladies from Pine Oaks went and competed in the Tri-Cities Pro Lady held at Johnson City Country Club on Wednesday, July 31st. The field was made up of 83 ladies and 11 PGA Professionals all from the golf courses in the Tri-Cities areas. Pine Oaks brought 2 teams to compete against the 21 teams that day, along with their Head PGA Professional, Bryan Bentley. The weather was perfect, and the birdies were being made early and often by both teams. The team of Pam Stoots, Luanne Bergandahl, Judy Clarke, and Cheryl Justice shot a blistering 28 (-8) on the front 9 for the NET Ball. This led to them shooting a 58 (-14) for the day on their NET Ball. The team of Rita Blackwell, Peggy Bentley, Cheryl Goulds, and Patricia Fox would get out to a great start of their own too. Making natural birdies on their first 5 holes, this team would go on to win the Gross Division for the entire tournament. The ladies took home first place prizes with a Gross Score of 60 (-12)!! All the ladies played great and represented Pine Oaks well. Congratulations to the team of Blackwell/Bentley/Goulds/Fox for their victory, and a special thank you to all eight ladies for inviting their Pro out to join them for a day on the course. He is already looking forward to next year!
